In 2005 Bennett Homes secured an enviable site with road frontage on the main A49 truck road in Ludlow.  Following completion various large retailer came forward to secure their interest in this site. One of which was the large hotel chain, Travelodge. They had a requirement to build a 41 bed hotel on the site.  Contracts were drawn up and the deal was put together requiring the property to be build within a 16 week period.  All the stops were pulled out and the completed 41 bedroom Travelodge was handed over to the company 16 weeks later, just before Christmas. This demonstrates our commitment to build contracts and more importantly programmes and installs faith in clients who do have to work to tight budgets and timescales.  Since the completion of the Travelodge a Restaurant and Public House and been built next door and so the marriage between a “bed for the night” and somewhere eat has been created.
